The Interstellar Alliance (ISA) was established in the year 2373 after a massive invasion by the much feared Grekkan Empire overwhelmed the border worlds of the Terran Colonial Union and its regional allies. In a brutal war that dragged on for decades, the ISA would eventually gain the upper hand and by the year 2395 it had liberated nearly all the worlds it had lost to the Empire.

Now the ISA is preparing to enter into the Grekkan Realm for the very first time. What wonders - and what tragedies - will they discover as they come to worlds and civilizations that have been under Grekkan rule for hundreds, if not thousands, of years?
